Service Assignments in ToolKeeper are essential for tracking where tools are located and what jobs, employees, or stockrooms they’re assigned to. This feature ensures accountability and efficient resource management across jobs, vehicles, and employees.

Service Assignment Fields

Each Service Assignment (SA) includes several fields, both required and optional, to provide detailed tracking. Here’s an overview of each field:

ID

Unique identifier for each SA, auto-generated by ToolKeeper.

Job Number

Required, unique identifier for each assignment within the tenant.

Job Name

Optional descriptive name for the job or assignment.

Type

Specifies the assignment type (e.g., Jobsite, Stockroom, Employee).

Active

Boolean flag for active status (default: true).

Phone

Optional contact number associated with the assignment.

Notes

Optional notes for additional details about the assignment.

Tenant

Tenant reference, linking the SA to a specific tenant.
